Touch the upper and lower teeth lightly together and part the lips
slightly. Inhale slowly through the gaps between the teeth —
the air makes a soft "seet" hissing sound as it cools across the
tongue. Close the mouth and retain if using kumbhaka. Exhale
slowly through the nose. Reduces pitta, cools the body, and
calms agitation. Avoid in cold environments or with asthma.
If you cannot hiss through the teeth, use Śītalī instead.
