Mūrcchā (swooning breath) uses an extended internal retention with
jalandhara bandha (chin lock) and śāmbhavī mudrā (internal gaze at
the brow centre). On inhale: fill the lungs fully and engage the chin
lock. During Kumbhaka: maintain the lock, draw the gaze upward, and
remain with the stillness. On exhale: release the lock slowly, then
exhale with control. Avoid if pregnant, hypertensive, or with any
heart or eye condition. Never practise alone until deeply familiar.
Supervise with breath awareness — never push the retention to
discomfort.
